Dr Alice Feurtey is currently a post-doctoral researcher in Eva Stukenbrock’s team at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology (Plön, Germany). She is mainly involved in projects investigating the evolutionary genomics of Zymoseptoria tritici and its wild-grass infecting sister-species, but is also interested in the population genomics of other cereal pathogens. She started her scientific career in Paris Sud University (Paris, France) with Tatiana Giraud, with whom she studied gene flow in apple tree and plant-pathogen co-evolution in wild environments.
